Wall-Mounted Electrical Enclosures

Drawing-based enclosure bodies for projects that require coordinated mounting, access, cable entry, and sealing details.

FN manufactures each enclosure to the approved dimensions, internal layout, openings, hardware, finish, inspection requirements, and shipment condition.

Wall-mounted electrical enclosures provide a compact cabinet body for control, terminal, distribution, telecom, solar, automation, and OEM equipment installed on a wall, machine frame, or support structure.

FN builds from customer drawings or confirmed project requirements. Review the mounting method, internal layout, openings, access, and installation conditions here, then send the project for drawing-based review when the specification needs deeper engineering confirmation.

The practical difference is interface coordination

01 · INSTALLATION FIT

Review more than box dimensions

Mounting points, internal clearance, door swing, cable route, nearby equipment, and maintenance access are considered together.

02 · DRAWING CONTROL

Coordinate openings and internal layout

Mounting plates, gland plates, connector holes, fan openings, windows, and hardware positions follow the approved project drawing.

03 · AGREED ACCEPTANCE

Define checks before production

Inspection items, required records, finish, accessory preparation, and shipment protection are confirmed for the specific order.

Best suited for

  • Compact wall, frame, or machine-mounted installations
  • Projects requiring a fixed mounting plate or DIN rail layout
  • Custom cable entry, connector, display, or ventilation openings
  • Indoor, outdoor, humid, or corrosion-aware projects with a confirmed material choice

Confirm before ordering

  • Installation environment and available clearance
  • Enclosure dimensions, mounting load, and door opening direction
  • Material, finish, gasket, hardware, and protection target
  • Drawing revision, quantity, inspection documents, packaging, and destination

Production and quality

Manufacturing & inspection

One approved drawing and specification should guide fabrication, inspection, and shipment protection. This keeps manufacturing, acceptance, and delivery aligned.

01 ·

Review

Confirm the drawing, use environment, interfaces, and acceptance requirements.

02 ·

Manufacture

Fabricate the enclosure body and prepare the agreed hardware and finish.

03 ·

Inspect

Check the project-defined dimensions, openings, fit, function, and surface condition.

04 ·

Protect

Separate accessories and apply the confirmed shipment packaging.

Agree the controls required for the order

Production controls

  • Approved drawing revision and production basis
  • Material, finish, hardware, and accessory scope
  • Mounting plate, opening, door, gasket, and clearance requirements
  • Quantity, marking, packaging, and delivery condition

Inspection and evidence

  • Dimensions and opening positions
  • Mounting plate, lock, hinge, handle, and gasket fit
  • Surface condition and accessory packing
  • Inspection records, packing photos, or project documents when agreed

Yes. FN can manufacture enclosure bodies from confirmed drawings, samples, photos, sketches, or project specifications. The production drawing and specification are confirmed before manufacturing.

Removable or fixed mounting plates, DIN rails, grounding studs, brackets, cable glands, terminal blocks, and other agreed hardware can be prepared within the confirmed project scope.

Bottom, side, top, gland-plate, conduit, connector, display, ventilation, or customer-defined openings can follow the approved drawing.

Added openings or field modifications can affect the finished enclosure boundary. Where protection performance matters, plan penetrations, accessories, sealing, installation, testing, and documentation as one system. Any third-party certification or formal test report must be confirmed separately for the specific project.
